Including M106 command

Hi guys,

Good work on the beta, it works rather well on my end.
I was wondering if you guys have a plan to implement M106 command control in your software. Specifically when using large amplitude wave commands I would be looking for reducing fan in order to have the filament to drop instead of being stuk in place.

Looking forward for the feedback
Cheers

Hi Vicckkky,

Welcome! It’s great to know Slice-Up is working fine for you.

I was wondering if you guys have a plan to implement M106 command control in your software. Specifically when using large amplitude wave commands I would be looking for reducing fan in order to have the filament to drop instead of being stuk in place.

Do you mean alternating M106 and M107 in sync with the wave?

It is doable and it would sit well together with a series of functionalities that allow to perform advanced computations on the E values. It is definitly on our plans, however it will not be released in the near future.

As a temporary fix it should be possible to throw in a toggle that disable the fan for waved layers only.
I’ll spend some time on it next week.

Thanks for the input!

@Vicckkky

I just deployed an updated version of the Spiral and Multi modules.

Now you can toggle the Fan-Off on Waves option to avoid cooling waves.

Other curves that are not waves will be cooled according to fan speed setting.

This should help you achieve the ‘filament drop’ you are after!

Cheers
Matteo

Wow crazy fast update thank you !
Will try them out as soon as I can !
